WARRANTY & SERVICE FOR MOBILE COMPUTING PRODUCTS

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR NEW PRODUCTS:

Nuvision warrants its product(s) against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date (“Limited Warranty period”), and at its discretion will either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace with a new or a refurbished product. If the same model is not available Nuvision will replace the unit with the a different unit of equal value or upgraded model at its discretion. Nuvision will incur no liability whatsoever to provide packaging for warranty items. Upon receipt of the warrantied item, should it be determined that the packaging is insufficient, or the unit failed by a non-manufactured defect, Nuvision may at its discretion, void the warranty. The customer is responsible for the transportation cost to Nuvision. A nominal handling fee applies. You must receive a return authorization number before sending a unit in for service. To obtain a valid return authorization number (RMA#), email us at cs@nuvision.com or call (800) 890-1288.

Upon completion of the warranty service performed, Customer will have a 90 day limited warranty or the warranty period will be for the duration of the original warranty, whichever is greater.

90 DAYS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REFURBISHED PRODUCTS:

Nuvision warrants Manufacturer refurbished products against defects in material or workmanship for a period of 90 days from the original purchase date (“Limited Warranty period”), and at its discretion will either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a refurbished product. If the same model is not available Nuvision will replace the unit with the a different unit of equal value or upgraded model at its discretion. Nuvision will incur no liability whatsoever to provide packaging for warranty items. Upon receipt of the warrantied item, should it be determined that the packaging is insufficient, or the unit was NOT refurbished by Nuvision, it may at its discretion, void the warranty. The customer is responsible for the transportation cost to Nuvision. A nominal handling fee does apply. You must receive an (RMA#) return authorization number by emailing cs@nuvision.com or calling (800) 890-1288 before sending a unit in for service. Upon completion of the warranty service performed, Customer will have 30 days limited warranty or warranty for the duration of the original warranty period, whichever is greater.  Nuvision, a TMAX Digital Inc., does not accept nor provide warranty service for products refurbished by others. 

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

Should it be necessary to contact Customer Support, call (888) 810-8829 or email us at cs@apexdigitalinc.com. You will be instructed on how your claim will be processed. Have pertinent information available including proof of purchase and an understanding of the issue. You must retain the original bill of sale to provide proof of purchase. Call or email a customer support representative to assess the problem. No service or shipment will be accepted unless an RMA# (Authorization Number) is provided to you and attached or printed to the shipping carton along with a copy of the bill of sale.

Limited Warranty is in effect only if the product was purchased through an Authorized Retail Seller of Nuvision and the unit is operated in North America

Limited Warranty does not extend to unlicensed third party resellers nor products refurbished by others. 

CUSTOMER DATA

Customer shall be solely responsible for maintaining backup data necessary to replace Customer data lost or damaged from any cause.

You are responsible for all tariffs and taxes imposed to ship or receive warranty or replacement units to and from the United States. Warranty extends only to defects in materials or workmanship and does not extend to cracked screens, damaged USB or DC ports, or any other products that have been lost, discarded, damaged by misuse, accident, neglect, liquid damage, acts of God (such as lightning), improper installation, improper maintenance, or modification. The Limited Warranty DOES NOT COVER damages of previously altered, modified, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than a service facility authorized by Nuvision (or TMAX Digital Inc.) Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or lost accessories. Should you decline our services and wish to have the unit returned, please provide a return label or pay Nuvision to return. If there is no response within 45 days, Nuvision will recycle the unit on your behalf. 

This warranty gives you specific rights and these rights may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitation on how long the warranty lasts or exclusions or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

Nuvision and TMAX Digital Inc. reserve its right to revise the warranty from time to time without written notice to you.

LIMITATIONS

An LCD panel is an innovative device that is manufactured to precise tolerances with active performing pixels of at least 99.9%. As such, it is NOT a malfunction to view multiple nonperforming pixels on your screen. All warranties implied by state law are expressly limited to the duration of the limited warranty set forth above with the exception of warranties implied by state law. © 2018 TMAX Digital Inc. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

LIABILITY OF NUVISION, A TMAX DIGITAL INC.: THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DAMAGES FOR ANY CLAIM OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY AND WHETHER ARISING IN TORT OR CONTRACT, SHALL NOT BE GREATER THAN THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT WITH RESPECT TO WHICH SUCH CLAIM IS MADE. IN NO EVENT SHALL NUVISION OR TMAX DIGITAL INC., BE LIABLE TO PURCHASE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COMPENSATION, REIMBURSEMENT OR DAMAGES ON ACCOUNT OF THE LOSS OF PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE PROFITS OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON WHATSOEVER.

What is your return and shipping policy?

REFUND POLICY

The Refund Policy for returns is 15 days from shipping date on finished goods such as laptops, and other consumer electronics (CE) products from Nuvision store only. All other units purchased from retail stores would need to follow our warranty policy.Accessories and parts such as Cables, remote controls, and adapters are final sales unless an incorrect model number was ordered or the accessory is found not to be compatible for the device intended.  Any return must include the following: original packaging, box, Styrofoam, plastic bags, manuals, cords, etc. Package(s) must be received with a valid return authorization number written clearly and attached to the package.  It is subject to a 15% restocking fee. DEFECTIVE RETURNS

Defective Returns will be accepted for exchange within 15 days of the shipment date. Email us at cs@nuvision.com or call (866) 490-9945 to have your device diagnosed. Once a claim has been determined, you will receive a valid return authorization number (RA#). This number must be clearly written on your package to insure that an exchange is processed appropriately. You are responsible for the transportation costs to our warehouse and NuVision will pay the cost of shipping back to you. After inspection, should any return be determined not to be defective, as reported, it will be subject to a 10% handling charge and the cost of shipping the package back to you.

REFUSED SHIPMENT PACKAGES

Refused Shipment Packages received without a valid return merchandise authorization number (RMA#) clearly written on the outside of the package will be refused by our warehouse. To obtain a valid return authorization number (RMA#), email us at cs@nuvision.com or call (866) 490-9945.

CANCELLED ORDERS

On Cancellation Orders we incur shipping and handling costs. In the event that an order is cancelled or refused, it will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. If it is determined that a shipment was made in error by NuVision, we will accept the return back at our expense and credit your account or ship out the proper product immediately upon the receipt of the returned item(s).

SHIPPING POLICY (AVAILABLE IN USA ONLY)

  • Shipping times are estimated in business days. Ground = 3-8 business days, 2nd Day = 2 business days, Priority = 1 business day.

  • Weekend deliveries are not available.

  • Ground shipping is not available to all locations.

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, or APO/FPO.

  • Finished goods shipments (Laptops, convertibles, 2 in 1's, and Tablets) will require a signature for delivery.

  • We do not ship internationally

Can I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately, you cannot after your order has been submitted. Orders with physical shipments are immediately sent to our fulfillment center and the system cannot change them. 

Does my billing address have to match the address on file with my credit card?

Yes. For credit card verification you must enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. We will not ship to another address for security reasons.
